According to the most recent study on this topic from the National Association of Realtors, here are the top landscaping projects that are likely to add the most value to your home:
1 – Landscape maintenance and overall upgrade (mulch application, pruning shrubs, planting flowers, upgrade worn-out functions)
2 – Standard lawn care service (fertilizer, weed control, mowing lawn)
3 – New Patio or New Wood Deck (improve and upgrade function and livability)
Interestingly, this list did not change much from the study conducted last year. This indicates that homebuyers value the simple things that increase curb appeal and make the home more livable or visually appealing.
